In the Old Village neighbourhood of Vilamoura, this modern villa puts the long sandy beach, restaurants, supermarkets and bars on your doorstep. Choose between days on the golden sand nearby, or lazing by the long infinity pool. There’s a covered dining area for shaded lunches and plenty of loungers to soak up the rays. The open living area inside is big enough for social gatherings and there’s an additional hang-out space in the basement with a ping-pong table. The decor feels a little sparse, so this place would suit fans of minimalism, rather than homeliness.
