Accessed via a secret courtyard in Venice's Dorsoduro district, this apartment is ideal for a solo traveller or couple. The balcony has space to sit out and enjoy an alfresco meal but is overlooked by surrounding buildings and may not feel fully private. You'll have your pick of restaurants within walking distance for whatever you're craving, so while the kitchen here is very small, you need not worry. Art galleries and the famous Peggy Guggenheim Collection are also nearby for immersing yourself in local culture, and three vaporetto stops are within easy reach to make exploration a breeze.

You can't drive in Venice, but this home is close to water taxi stops for getting around.
You'll need to climb an external staircase to reach the entrance of this home.
The kitchen here is very small here – there's one burner on the stove and no oven. It also may be lacking some basic crockery and cooking utensils. We think it's better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
The balcony here is overlooked by surrounding buildings, so it won't feel fully private. There are also some gaps in the railing so little ones will need supervision.
Due to this home's location, there is a chance you might hear some outside noise during your stay.
