Just steps from the famous St Mark's Square, this stylish ground-floor apartment enjoys views of the nearby Rio de San Zulian canal. You won't get much natural light here and the front door opens onto a courtyard which is frequented by tourists, so there is the potential for outside noise. The kitchenette is well-equipped for light meals, and while the decor is simple, we think the location more than makes up for it. You'll find a myriad of Venice's fantastic restaurants and shops just minutes away on foot, and the Rialto water taxi stop is easy to get to if you want to explore this iconic city further.

You can't drive in Venice, but this home is close to water taxi stops for getting around.
The front door opens onto a shared courtyard and you might find the occasional tourist here, so you might hear some outside noise and things may not feel fully private.
The kitchenette is well-equipped, but we think it's best for preparing light bites rather than large meals.
While we love the overall design of this home, it is lacking in natural light.
Storage is tight here, so we recommend packing light.
