Simple but stylish, this smart little apartment lets in plenty of natural light from the balcony windows, with views of the tree-lined street below. Perfectly located to use as a base for exploring this exciting city, it's a bright and cheerful place to stay. Decorated in greys and whites, pops of colour are added thanks to colourful cushions and vibrant local art. There's a fully kitted-out kitchen if you're feeling like cooking at home and a table and chairs for four in the living space, and the master bedroom has street views through the trees. And it's not to everyone's taste but we think children, in particular, will love the clever second bedroom. Japanese-style sliding doors open up the sleeping nook, where two single beds sit on the raised floor. The Plaça d'Espanya and Museo Blau are both nearby and you can be bang in the city centre (via public transport) in a short ten minutes. Foodies couldn’t be better located for an Adria brothers’ restaurant crawl, with all the Michelin-star restaurants within easy reach too.
