Catching our eye with its colourful living area and terrace, we think this flat in hip Pontcanna is perfect for two style-conscious couples. If alfresco dining is out of bounds due to drizzle, the breakfast bar can squeeze everyone around it for indoor meals. While the bedrooms are a little snug – the second requires one guest to climb over the bed to reach their side – they are cosy spots to rest after a day exploring Bute Park and Cardiff city centre (twenty-five minutes on foot or ten by bus). Closer to home, you'll find quaint eateries and cosy pubs just a short stroll away.

The bedrooms are quite small with limited storage space. However, they have everything you need for a comfortable night's sleep. Also, the bed in the second bedroom is against a wall on one side and at its foot. Guests will need to climb over the other side to reach it.
Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay.
There is no dining table here, although there are four stools around the kitchen's breakfast bar.
If you're travelling for work, you'll find a desk in one of the bedrooms.
