Located inside an old torpedo boat hall that’s been repurposed by Tegnestuen Vandkunsten, there’s no doubt that Clear as Day is a very special home. It’s minimal in style with colourful touches and an urban-meets-historic atmosphere. Set on Holmen, it’s a little bit difficult to access with public transport, but you’ve got the Opera House in your backyard and Noma (the world’s second-best restaurant), is a brisk ten-minute walk away. Although this home has plenty to offer, it might not be for everyone due to its proximity to Freetown Christiania and all of its alternative vibes.

Home truths
The location opposite to Freetown Christiania might not be to everyone's liking
You're in a beautiful part of Copenhagen, but it's not very well-connected to the rest of the city – Christianshavn Metro Station is an eighteen-minute walk away
There's no additional bedside plug socket, so if you charge your phone at night in the bedroom, you'll have to unplug the bedside lamp
With no home manual, you may have to ask how to use the appliances
As there is no washing machine or tumble dryer, this place is not practical for longer stays
In contrast to the rest of the apartment, the bathroom looks a little tired – we found some damp spots in places
