Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Situated in a new build in Carlsbergbyen, Bye Bye Bicycle is bright with a lot of modern touches. Although it doesn’t ooze of character, we love the retro Vissevasse prints and the balanced pops of colour that liven up the living room. The immediate neighbourhood isn’t super lively, but you’re on the old Carlsberg Brewery site, so there’s lots of history to delve into. You’re also very close to trendy Vesterbro and all of its independent eateries, hipster coffee shops and design boutiques.

Home truths
The design is on the simple side, practical solutions have been prioritised
Although the bathroom is brand new, it’s still a little bit basic – don’t expect a luxurious spa experience
Even though it’s not the most lively area in Copenhagen, you’re well-connected to the rest of the city and you’re also close to trendy Vesterbro
Heavy packers be aware – there's not a lot of space in the bedroom for unpacking your suitcase

Local guide
About Carlsberg Byen
Found on the former site of Carlsberg brewery, it’s no wonder how Carlsberg Byen got its name. All production has now ceased and moved to a different part of Denmark, but many of the old buildings still stand and provide a historic antithesis to the many modern buildings that are cropping up all over. Some of the historic buildings are being repurposed, like TAP1, a former bottling plant turned event...
