Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

From its hilltop setting, this Tuscan villa offers tranquil views of the sea and surrounding countryside. The interior is traditional and may feel a little dated, but it has buckets of Italian charm. There’s a private pool area and an alfresco dining terrace to soak in the vistas, not to mention the rooftop conservatory for sharing sundowners. The separate tower suite offers privacy for guests seeking it, while the rest of the home provides ample opportunity for socialising. The surrounding area is sprawling with vineyards and walking trails, so there's plenty to do if you want to explore. We recommend visiting one of the local wineries for a tour and tasting, too.

Home truths

Due to its location, we recommend hiring a car. The nearest amenities are around 15km away. There's parking.

The traditional decor here might not be to everyone's taste. Not all rooms are photographed, but we expect consistency in style and quality.

Air conditioning is only available in three of the bedrooms.

The tower is attached to the main building via a hallway. It offers a kitchenette, a double bedroom and a bathroom.

The pool is open from mid-May to mid-September. It isn't fenced so children will need to be supervised at all times. If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance.

One small dog is welcome upon prior request and agreement.

About Tuscany

Perhaps the first region to come to mind when you think of holidays in Italy, there’s no denying Tuscany’s beauty. The term “Rolling hills” could have been coined here, where grapes ripen on vines in the folds of the valleys and ancient towns crown hilltops. Florence, with its fairytale ancient buildings, dramatic Ponte Vecchio over the river Arno, and Rennaisance collections in the Uffizi Gallery, has always been a big...
