This coastal cottage is the perfect retreat for families or groups of friends seeking a chilled-out stay. With nautical designs and waterside views overlooking Salcombe estuary from the balcony terrace, you don't even have to go out to be reminded of your seaside location here. Our favourite spot in the home has to be over by the wood-burning fireplace – perfect for cosying up after a day on the beach. The roll-top bathtub adds a touch of luxury, meanwhile, the extra lounge area upstairs lets the kids have their own space. Just a short walk from the high street and steps away from boat access to the water – you'll have the conveniences of Salcombe in the palm of your hand.

If you're bringing little ones along, please note you'll need to bring your own travel cot and high chair. The home can accommodate stair gates, so please ask the host about bringing your own.
Please note the upper lounge room and balcony are accessed via a ladder, so children will need to be supervised. Meanwhile, the home is spread across three floors, so it may not be suited to those with limited mobility.
