This ranch-style Fort Lauderdale pad is the perfect spot to soak up Florida's endless rays. Heated swimming pool, sunny garden, alfresco dining area – it's got all the essentials for outdoor living. We also like the breezy and laid-back design inside, although two of the bedrooms would be a better fit for children. The location is also top-notch. Rent a street-legal golf cart and zip down to the beach in less than five minutes. Prefer to walk? It's only ten minutes on foot. Your host also provides four bikes and some much-appreciated beach gear, including chairs, a cooler, and a cart.

There's on-site parking available. While the beach is within walking distance, we suggest hiring a car if you plan to explore further afield.
