This elevated villa offers beautiful views. On one side, you’ve got the turquoise waters of the Cretan sea, and on the other, an olive tree-clad hillside. With such captivating scenery, it’s only right you have somewhere to enjoy it, and this home offers multiple spots to relax and take it all in. Our favourite is the private infinity pool, but you can take your pick from multiple balconies, an alfresco dining terrace and a covered outdoor lounge. With such a rural location, you’ll be better off renting a car to get around – the traditional village of Tavronitis has an array of shops, tavernas and cafes to enjoy, and you’ll find the beaches of Maleme eight kilometres away.

Home truths
While there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms at entrance level here, stairs are required to access the front door. This home may not be suitable for those with reduced mobility.
There's free private parking available here. The nearest village is over four kilometres away, so we'd recommend renting a car to get the most out of your stay.
If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a high chair for free. You'll need to request it in advance.
While some of the bedrooms and bathrooms aren't photographed, we expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home.
The swimming pool isn't fenced. If you're bringing little ones, they'll need to be supervised at all times.
