The residential hills of Graça provide a peaceful backdrop to this comfortable home, making it perfect for those who don't want to stay in the hustle and bustle of the centre but are equally only a brisk walk or tram ride away. We love how this home emphasises colourful furniture that works well with the tasteful artwork and carpet patterns that subtly repeat in the master bedroom. The glasshouse-style dining area, in particular, provides a magnificent green outlook, making this home a real gem. Spend your days strolling through the cobblestone streets of Lisbon, admiring the homes and famous tiles you come across. Make your way up to Alfama's focal point, Castelo de São Jorge – no visit to Lisbon is complete without a day spent exploring the castle and Alfama's surrounding mediaeval streets. Take a sunset stroll down the river, then finish the evening at Time Out Market – enjoy some fresh local cuisine and a pint of beer. Don't forget to pick up some freshly baked Pastéis de Natas on your way out, and you might even catch some dancing in the centre.

About Graça

Graça is the highest point of Lisbon's seven hills, sitting just above the beautiful Alfama. You’ll find some of the best views of the city in this neighbourhood. Wind your way slowly up and down the cobbled streets, pausing at viewpoints to take in the pastel-painted walls of Alfama. The downside to the incredible views is the steepness of Graça – we advise taking it steady and calling in to local bars and restaurants for regular energy-boosts. As the sun sets over Lisbon, you’ll find your efforts in finding the perfect terrace worthwhile.
