Stood within the grounds of a working lighthouse, the setting of this traditional cottage is postcard-perfect. While the fog signal is long gone, the beam of this lighthouse still shines bright at night – an impressive sight to see while stargazing from the shared gardens. It’s worth noting that with nothing but the deep blue sea and a country park for miles around, you’ll need a car here. Though if you fancy a change of scene, the seaside town of Swanage is just a three-mile drive away.

    Access roads to the lighthouse are narrow with limited passing.

    There is parking available within the grounds.

    Please note that the water in this cottage is not suitable for drinking, but bottled water is provided.

    A travel cot and high chair are available on request.

    A telephone with an honesty box is provided as there is limited mobile signal and Wi-Fi availability cannot be guaranteed.

    The lighthouse grounds are walled however please ensure children are supervised at all times.

    This is a heritage building and certain features such as steps, stairs and floor levels may not comply with that of a modern building.

    The grounds surrounding the cottage are shared.
