This bright, thoughtfully designed home is near the city’s most lively action. Live in Haute Marais – the most fashionable part of this trendy neighbourhood – and feel Parisian local life swell around you. In the immediate vicinity, you’ll find great food shops and adventurous contemporary art galleries (like CNAM), but you’ll also be close to all the city’s major attractions – walk just eleven minutes to The Centre Pompidou, eighteen to Musée National Picasso-Paris and just ten to the rest of the trendy boutiques, bars and restaurants of Le Marais. Plus, a quick seven-minute walk from home will have at the République metro, where you can find connections all over the city. Inside this 18th-century building, you’ll find a home with a charming vaulted ceiling and exposed dark wooden beams. The rest of the place is more modern, with light filling in the French doors, the sociable open-plan living concept and the array of antiques from your host’s travels. Eat a quick breakfast at the kitchen island, come home to the large TV and inviting sofa or just pour yourself a glass of wine, settle in the leather armchair and look up at the hanging plants and wise wooden... ceiling and feel as though you really do live here.
