Set on a historic farm with sweeping views of the Vale of Clwyd, this barn is a Grade II listed retreat perfectly placed for exploring North Wales. Walk straight onto the Offa’s Dyke Path or head into nearby Ruthin, a historic market town with galleries, pubs and restaurants. Llangollen’s steam railway, Denbigh and Conwy castles, and the dramatic peaks of Snowdonia are all within reach by car (which we’d recommend having). Back home, you can unwind with dinner on the terrace, curl up with a good book in front of the log-burner, or simply enjoy some peace and quiet. We think it’s a tranquil base with endless opportunities for adventure and relaxation.

Home truths
If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and a stairgate for free. You'll need to request them in advance.
The oak staircase is not carpeted, so take care when walking on them, especially with children.
The home sits on a working farm – expect to see livestock and machinery nearby. You're asked not to enter fields or touch equipment. And while the garden is private and enclosed, the wider landscape is open countryside, so you may occasionally hear or see farm activity.
Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. There's ample gravelled parking here.
