Once a barn, this sprawling Dorest home offers country living with all the comforts of home. With several sitting rooms and the alfresco dining area, there's plenty of space to spread out here – we think this makes it perfect for multigenerational family gatherings. The large beds are perfect for getting well-earned rest after an epic hike, and the two zip-and-link beds offer some flexibility if you're travelling with kids. When it's time to head out, you'll find plenty to see within walking distance, including the 14th-century St Catherine's Chapel, the charming village of Abbotsbury, and Chesil Beach (part of the Jurassic Coast).
