Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Straddling the Chiado-Baixa neighbourhoods and only a nine-minute walk from the iconic Praça do Comércio, this trendy, city-centre apartment is a perfect base to explore the best that Lisbon has to offer – the view of Tagus is just a bonus. Its privileged location means you can enjoy the best of both worlds – culture and coffee in Chiado during the day and numerous clubs and bars in Baixa by night. Back inside, the interior gets its design cues from the sophisticated surroundings, seamlessly blending modern furnishings with antique pieces striking a balance so that the home avoids feeling either too clinical or like a museum. The balconette in the bedroom is perfect for people-watching and catching a glimpse of the sea.

Home truths
While the home is canine-themed, this host does not accept pets.
There is no elevator to this fourth-floor home – those with limited mobility or heavy suitcases beware.
The bedroom doesn't have a lot of storage space, and you'd struggle to unpack two suitcases there.
It's worth noting that the mattresses here are on the firmer side, so not everyone might find them comfortable.
The wi-fi is quite patchy – this might not be the best option for those who want to work during their stay.
The host only provides one key during your stay.

About Chiado
Chiado is full of old-world charm, and is one of the best-loved parts of Lisbon. Think pastel-hued homes, cobbled streets and plenty of squares to soak up the atmosphere. There’s a slower pace of life in Chiado, which is why it’s so popular with locals. Hop on a tram to take in the open-air ruin of the Camo church, a Gothic masterpiece that was mostly destroyed in an earthquake, or hit the shops – this is one of Lisbon’s best shopping districts, after all.
