Recently refurbished to a very high standard, this authentic southern Californian home boasts classic Spanish Colonial architectural features, like the low-pitched red tile roof, arched windows and painted tiles. Step inside and guests will find a bright and airy home with a modern design scheme. Guests who want a personal experience will want to look elsewhere, as this is a rental unit. What this home lacks in character, however, it more than makes up for with the outstanding outdoor space.

The large window facing the street does not have any curtains or blinds, so guests may feel a lack of privacy (although it is set back from the road)
When we visited, there was some remodelling going on next door
The outdoor space is shared with the upper unit
There are two bathrooms between three bedrooms, so guests will need to share
We wouldn’t recommend cooking a large meal in the small-ish kitchen
There are no TVs in the bedrooms
