Ask the host anything

Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

This home’s minimal design complements the original features of the building – we love the high ceilings and unique curved corridors. Newly renovated, Shaking It is spotless. The communal area might be a little on the small side for its capacity of eight, but the open layout and natural light from the balcony windows make it a great place to socialise. Conveniently located in the Eixample neighbourhood, the Plaça Catalunya, Sagrada Familia and Casa Battló are all nearby.

Home truths

It can get a bit noisy in the master bedroom and second bedroom as they face onto a busy avenue

There are only two bathrooms between all eight guests

The third bedroom is on the small side and gets less natural light than the others

We wish the internet speed was a bit faster in the bedrooms

Host

This home is managed by Owen

This home is managed directly by its owner who will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Originally from France, Owen used to come to Barcelona for holidays but loved it so much he decided to stay. He began hosting in his own home, but soon expanded his portfolio and now has a whole team working with him. Owen might not be the one checking you in, but his team is seriously committed and proud of the work they do – you can be certain you’re in good hands.
