The creative quarter of Le Marais plays host to plenty of colourful bars, delightful restaurants, and world-class art galleries. Just over a fifteen-minute walk from the Musée Picasso, and less than fifteen to the Centre Pompidou, this apartment offers a very unique space for your stay in Paris. It’s rare to be able to benefit from a glass, loft-like ceiling without having to climb up any stairs. But like its surroundings, this ground-floor marvel is a true work of art. Light streams in from above to illuminate the modern living space and its array of soft, pastel colours. While the furnishings have a 21st-century, Scandi feel, we love the incredibly rustic features such as chunky, wooden beams that bring an old-world vibe. Continue on this vibe by taking a ten-minute walk to experience local life at the Marché des Enfants-Rouges, a traditional food market. Peruse the fresh produce in the morning before strolling on to the Canal Saint-Martin for lunch. With street food spots and trendy bars by the waterside, you might find yourself losing track of time. Feel free to stay for a few cocktails, as home is just a ten-minute walk away.

Home truths
At full capacity, two guests will sleep on a double sofa bed in the living room (it's very bright thanks to the glass roof, so we would recommend bringing an eyemask for sleeping here)
As this home is on the ground floor, it's perfect if you're not so keen to climb flights of stairs
You can check in from 11:15 am, but the apartment might not be cleaned until 3 pm at the latest
Paid parking is available nearby in a car park, but we wouldn't recommend bringing a car as the public transport links are excellent
As this home allows for self check-in with a lockbox, you won't meet your host upon arrival
While your host doesn't provide shampoo in the bathroom, there are plenty of other perks, such as your own bread maker
