Tropical Thunder's excellent location on Passeig de Gràcia will land you right on Barcelona's most luxurious avenue and within walking distance to the famous Modernist Block of Discord. This is a warm, big home, split across two bright floors. The second and the third bedrooms enjoy plenty of light and high ceilings although verging on the smaller. This is hardly a problem given that there are other options for socialising, the home in fact boasts a huge tropical terrace that's perfect for an afternoon drink and all in all true rarity in the centre.

We spotted some marks on the walls in the living room when we visited
Although fully functional, we thought the bathrooms were a bit outdated
