Bauhaus Journal is bang in the middle of Tel Aviv. A two-minute walk from Dizengoff Square, you’ll be able to feel the lively atmosphere instantly. This home is set against the backdrop of a UNESCO-listed Bauhaus building, so needless to say, it’s packed full of charisma. We love how the hosts have revitalised the unique history and paired it with contemporary elements like the navy blue cabinetry and Moroccan-inspired textures.

Home truths
All of the bathrooms are relatively small – there’s not a lot of space for unpacking your toiletry bag
The walls could do with a lick of paint to cover up scuff marks
The kitchen is on the basic side – it’s missing amenities like a dishwasher and oven
There’s currently no home manual, you may have to ask for help on how to use the appliances
Even though there’s an elevator in the building, you will still have to climb four steps to reach the front door
