This warm and welcoming home is a lovely choice for a family break in Snowdonia. It can be found in one of the area’s most picturesque valleys, within 5 miles of the harbour town of Porthmadog. We love the outside space, where you can drink in gorgeous views from every direction – and where you can enjoy some stargazing at night. The farmhouse itself is comfortable and cosy, with a wheelchair-accessible bedroom on the ground floor. The three bedrooms on the first floor all share one bathroom, so there may be a bit of a wait for the shower.

About Porthmadog
Sandwiched between the sea and the mountains, this corner of Wales has some striking scenery to swoon over. And staying here gives you the best of both worlds – sweeping sands and rugged mountain tops, all in one day. Plus, if you like a narrow gauge, you’re in luck – Porthmadog is a hub for small tourist trains. There are three of them in all, perfect for lazy days pootling...
