Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

We really can't fault this home for being simple – it's located in the vicinity of elaborate, iconic buildings that are impossible to top. The most important one, of course, is Sagrada Família, which you'll be able to admire from the communal rooftop terrace and pool. Cream Madera is almost spartan in its design, best suited to those who like minimalism with a strong emphasis on functionality. The host has several near-identical homes in the same building, so minor design details, as well as the floor you'll be staying on, may vary.

Home truths

Both of the bedrooms are quite small and don't get a lot of natural light

When we tested the internet, it was too slow for uninterrupted streaming and other data-heavy tasks

Our standards are admittedly high, but the bedding just wasn't up to scratch

Aside from the TV with local programmes, there aren't many entertainment options in this home

There's physical space for six guests to sleep in this home, but we felt that might be too much of a squeeze

About Sagrada Família

La Sagrada Família is the neighbourhood immediately surrounding Barcelona’s greatest and largest attraction - the Sagrada Família. As Gaudí’s opus magnum, the architectural behemoth has been in construction for over a century, and some say asking when will it be finished is the easiest way to anger a local. The immediate vicinity of the cathedral is always busy, but the rest of the area is upscale and residential, making it quieter than one would expect. The vast avenues are home to a variety of cafes, shops, and beautifully designed parks.
