Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

Located so close to Sagrada Família that you can study the ornaments from the communal rooftop terrace, Pearl Madera has a clear superpower – location. This is a simple, functional home, which relies on solid blocks of colour and texture to express its character. Aside from the communal rooftop area, you'll also be able to enjoy a cosy balcony in the front, perfect for a morning coffee. The host has several near-identical homes in the same building, so minor design details, as well as the floor you'll be staying on, may vary.

Home truths

Both of the bedrooms are quite small and don't get a lot of natural light

When we tested the internet, it was too slow for uninterrupted streaming and other data-heavy tasks

Our standards are admittedly high, but the bedding just wasn't up to scratch

Aside from the TV with local programmes, there aren't many entertainment options in this home

Although minimal, we noticed some stains on the living room carpet

There's physical space for six guests to sleep in this home, but we felt that might be too much of a squeeze

About Sagrada Família

La Sagrada Família is the neighbourhood immediately surrounding Barcelona’s greatest and largest attraction - the Sagrada Família. As Gaudí’s opus magnum, the architectural behemoth has been in construction for over a century, and some say asking when will it be finished is the easiest way to anger a local. The immediate vicinity of the cathedral is always busy, but the rest of the area is upscale and residential, making it quieter than one would expect. The vast avenues are home to a variety of cafes, shops, and beautifully designed parks.
