Once part of an 18th-century corn mill, this stone cottage is a comfortable spot to explore the Pembrokeshire Coast. Spread across one floor, this home is suitable for every guest – your host can also provide a cot and high chair if you're visiting with little ones. The style might not be for everyone, but it's bright and cosy, with a garden leading onto the Solva Stream. When you’re ready to explore, the pubs of Solva are a five-minute drive away, while the sandy beaches of Whitesands Bay and Newgale are around ten minutes.

Home truths

We suggest hiring a car for ease – there's parking here. Please note that there's a track running alongside the cottage.

The cottage sits next to two other cottages. You'll have complete privacy but this may also suit guests seeking get-togethers.

We think the designs here are a little dated but perfectly comfortable and inviting.

If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair for free. The lawned area leads onto a stream, so please supervise children at all times.

You might find that the phone signal is patchy from time to time.

You may wish to pick up some bits and bobs to get you started here. The nearest supermarket is 1.6 miles away.

About The Pembrokeshire Coast

Fabulous coastal scenery? Tick. Big, sandy beaches? Tick. More outdoor activities than you can shake a carabiner at? Absolutely. If you’re any kind of outdoorsy person, this place has you covered. With footpaths, cycleways, beaches and waves, the Pembrokeshire coast is for surfing and sandcastle-building, and everything in between.
