Not far from the harbour, Footsteps has a layout that makes it particularly good for families looking for somewhere to stay in the Gothic Quarter. The flat itself doesn’t have much natural light, but you do have access to a roof terrace, shared by other residents. It’s really important to be aware that there are several flats in the same building represented by this listing, but they are all identical, so the only thing that might change is the view (which is nothing to write home about anyway).

Home truths

This is representative of five different apartments in the same building – while we can't say which you'll get, we can say that they're all identical

    You won't get an in-person check-in

The entrance isn't straightforward to find – it's in a small, cluttered alleyway with motorbikes in front of the door

There's a very small lift that can take you to the third floor, but there are still stairs to get to it

As the street outside is so narrow, there's not much natural light in the flat

We found a few damp stains on the walls, but these are being taken care of

There are construction works in the internal courtyard which can get noisy

    There's no oven

Neither bathroom has a window or extraction fan
