Not far from the harbour and on the edge of the Gothic Quarter, Footprints is laid out in a way that will particularly suit families. It can get a bit dark at times in the flat, but when you need air and light, there’s a shared roof terrace that you have access to. It’s really important to be aware that this listing represents several flats, all identical, and all in the same building. The only thing that might change between them is the view.

Home truths

This is representative of five different apartments in the same building – while we can't say which you'll get, we can say that they're all identical

    You won't get an in-person check-in

The entrance isn't straightforward to find – it's in a small, cluttered alleyway with motorbikes in front of the door

There's a very small lift that can take you to the third floor, but there are still stairs to get to it

There are construction works in the internal courtyard which can get noisy

As the street outside is narrow, there's not much natural light in the flat

The bedrooms are small with limited space throughout, so we'd recommend travelling light

    There's no dishwasher

Neither bathroom has a window or extraction fan

About Gothic Quarter

Gothic Quarter is a true tourist hotspot, filled with shops and famous attractions on every corner. During the day, urban explorers fill its narrow, stone-paved streets, admiring the neo-Gothic sights – but it’s the night that sees the Quarter truly come to life. Home to some of the city’s most popular restaurants, bars, and quirky shops that stay open till late, the vibrant area is popular among young travellers and party-goers seeking the best Barcelona has to offer.
