With an inherent Scandi touch and a monochrome colour palette, Masculine Feminine appears very stylish. The building is from 1906 with lots of charming details (think stucco and wooden floors), but our absolute favourite thing about Patrick’s home is that it feels loved. We especially appreciate the well-equipped kitchen that’s perfect for cooking up a storm. Valby isn’t very lively, but it's right next to the station, so you can be in Indre By in about fifteen minutes.

Home truths
Valby is a lovely part of Copenhagen, but it’s not central – you have to hop on the S-train to get to the touristy spots
This home is located on the second floor with no lift, be prepared for some up and down
The shower is quite narrow
There’s currently no home manual, you may have to ask for help on how to use the appliances
When we visited, we noticed some wear and tear here and there
It’s a lived-in home, so expect to share the space with some of the host’s belongings like clothes and toiletries

Valby isn’t the most buzzing part of Copenhagen. It’s located on the outskirts of the city, separated from nearby neighbourhoods Vesterbro, Frederiksberg, and Carlsbergbyen by Valby Hill. Well-connected to Indre By, you’re at Nørreport Station in less than fifteen minutes by way of the S-train.
