With solid wood ceilings and a view of a charming inner courtyard, Clematis feels very Roman. Minimalist in style (with plenty of original features), it’s great for travellers looking for a comfortable base with a historic atmosphere. Even though it’s within walking distance to important monuments (Largo di Torre Argentina, Pantheon, Piazza Navona), the immediate streets are fairly calm with an overriding local feel.
