While Swan Lake is conservative when it comes to design, there’s enough built in to keep it interesting. The internet-enabled TV is a nice touch, as is the abundance of USB sockets around the place. As for the underfloor heating, well, the Milanese winters are surprisingly cold. It goes without saying that the flat is kept impeccably, Michele clearly takes a lot of pride in its condition, which is exactly how it should be.

About Chinatown

Milan’s mainly pedestrianised Chinatown is the oldest and biggest Chinese district in Italy. The first settlements date back to the 1920s, when the first Chinese from the Zhejiang region (near Shanghai ) travelled to Milan to work in the silk industry, increasingly expanding their presence throughout the decades. Milan’s Chinatown might not have a typical access arch like the Chinatowns of London or in Paris, but it shares a lot of what those ones have - great food and lanterns galore! It's also an easy walk to the historical centre - only 20 minutes to Brera, for example.

Host

This home is managed by Michele

This home is managed directly by its owner who will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Michele’s a wonderful host, and we’re really excited to have him on Plum. He’s talkative, and after meeting him, we felt very at ease. He clearly puts a lot of effort into the flat, and his hosting, and that shines through.

This home is a Plum Guide Award winner.
