The sheer amount of natural light in Seedling is remarkable. It’s hard to overestimate the effect that can have on a flat. There’s a relaxed atmosphere to the place, underscored by the abundance of plants and books. It feels like somewhere to retreat to after a day out, whether sightseeing or working. Equally though, you could easily spend hours lounging around that living room. If you couldn’t tell, we’re rather taken by Seedling.

About Chinatown
Milan’s mainly pedestrianised Chinatown is the oldest and biggest Chinese district in Italy. The first settlements date back to the 1920s, when the first Chinese from the Zhejiang region (near Shanghai ) travelled to Milan to work in the silk industry, increasingly expanding their presence throughout the decades. Milan’s Chinatown might not have a typical access arch like the Chinatowns of London or in Paris, but it shares a lot of what those ones have - great food and lanterns galore! It's also an easy walk to the historical centre - only 20 minutes to Brera, for example.

Host
This home is managed by Violetta
This home is managed directly by its owner who will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Violetta was drawn to hosting because she wanted to share her home with other people, and loved the idea of the ensuing cultural exchange. She’s been doing it for a while now, and has taken to it like a duck to water.
