Part of a striking brick building dating back to the 1930s, this Hackney apartment is an ideal base for those looking for a village feel in a trendy area. Inside, the design is an en-vogue and well-executed mix of muted greys and mid-century-inspired furnishings. There's a large private terrace with sweeping views out over the East London skyline, which feels like a coup in a city where outside space is in high demand. The building has a concierge available twenty-four-seven, as well as a yoga studio and an Italian restaurant on the ground floor. When you're in the mood for exploring, London Fields and its heated lido sit just across the road, while ten minutes' walk will get you to the market stalls of Broadway Market.

About London Fields

Less raucous than neighbouring Dalston and less family-oriented than Stoke Newington, if this corner of Hackney has a defining characteristic it’s the streetlife. Maybe it's the influence of the area’s large and ever-growing Italian community — with tables and chairs lining the Broadway Market thoroughfare, cocktails and cabaret seating outside railway arches and picnickers in the park in all weathers. The park is also home to the London Fields Lido - London's only 50-metre heated outdoor pool, open whatever the weather. Dive in and join the hardy regulars who swim all year round!
