Rua de São José is famous for its opulent design boutiques, as well as upscale restaurants and bars that make this street a perfect day out for those who appreciate the finer things in life. Solar has excellent natural light and it's obvious that it's been designed by an architect – the azulejo details give subtle, yet frequent nods to traditional Portuguese design. Although we'd love to see some more artwork on the walls, this home does an excellent job of mixing several different stone textures that give each room a distinct character.
