In this apartment in the upscale 15th arrondissement, you’ll be staying right next to Paris’ most famous sight – la Tour Eiffel. If you’re looking for an elegant base from where you can stroll to the main attraction, three minutes away, this home is more than ideal. The first thing we recommend doing upon arrival is throwing open the French windows, popping a bottle of chilled champagne, and saying ‘santé’ as you clink glasses in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower. Located in an Haussmann block with plenty of historic charm, the home boasts breathtaking views of the Iron Lady from wrought-iron balconettes. If you manage to tear yourself away from the scenery, the interiors are also quite lovely. Parquet flooring, moulded ceilings, and a striking marble fireplace bring a traditional, luxury feel to the main living space. Elsewhere, there’s a modern atmosphere created by white bedrooms and a cute checkered floor in the kitchen. But you might not spend much time in the latter – we think restaurant dining by the Seine (six minutes away) is a much better idea.
