Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
We named this home Summer Cottage because it has that real tranquil feeling that we adore so much. It oozes charm and calmness as it invites you to slow down too. We also love how it masterfully combined the eclectic and personal with fish-themed wallpaper, reclaimed wood, and the quaint wood panelling in the kitchen. Right in Frederiksberg, you’re in a great location, especially if you’re looking for a quieter, family-friendly experience in Copenhagen.

Home truths
There’s very little storage space for guests
There’s little natural ventilation in this home – it smelled a little bit stuffy when we visited
Bedroom two is on the smaller side
The second bed is also more like a roll-out mattress on the floor – not the most luxurious sleeping experience
In true Copenhagen fashion, the bathroom is on the small side – it’s also a little tired looking, the limescale, in particular, could do with some attention
The host would appreciate if you help water the plants
It’s on the first floor with no lift, be prepared for some up and down
This is a lived-in home – expect some wear and tear (scuff marks, minor stains, scratches and the like)

About Frederiksberg
Even though it’s not too far from the city centre, Frederiksberg feels and looks very different from many of the other boroughs – and it even has its own mayor. As one of the prime habitats of the wealthy, conservative Copenhageners, there are exclusive shops, world-class bakeries, and posh restaurants aplenty. Frederiksberg also has its own architectural code to ensure that the neighbourhood’s cultural heritage and unique atmosphere is maintained,...
