Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Situated on lively Gothersgade with its many bars, restaurants and cafes, and just moments from the lakes, In The Dark mixes nature with city life in a stylish, elegant way. The colour palette is overwhelmingly black and white, with statement dark walls aplenty that blend with the original features. There are also some well-curated and lively pops of colour – we especially love the bold, colourful artworks in the living room. It overlooks a calm courtyard (with a rooftop), but it is on the fifth floor with no elevator, so a free work-out is included in the price.

Home truths
In true Copenhagen fashion, the bathroom is very small
The wifi wasn’t working when we visited – the host is aware of this
It’s on the fifth floor with no lift – not everyone will appreciate the free work-out
There’s no home manual
We also found some scuff marks on the walls
The bathroom is a little tired-looking – the limescale, in particular, could do with some love
