If you're a fan of pretty garden terraces and divine alfresco dining spots, then Cedrata is just the home for you. It offers a slightly different sort of stay from what you might expect from a rental – it straddles the divide between a hotel experience and a flat, so you have the services of the former (including a twenty-four-hour reception and daily cleaning) along with the independence afforded by the latter. The flat itself is kept beautifully, as you might expect, with a charming dining area and cosy, coffee-toned bedroom. There's a real rustic feel around the home too, with original features such as the green beamed ceilings and dark oak floorboards. Last, but certainly not least, step out onto the sunny veranda terrace, billowing with flowers and fresh citrus fruits (which you're free to pick when in season), pour a chilled glass of wine and watch how the world goes by in this ancient city. We can think of nothing better than warmer evenings spent out here with a loved one, watching over the surrounding rooftops. The location is pretty much perfect, too, with a direct view down the road to the Colosseum – it's only a short ten-minute... stroll away. Take a wander around the immediate neighbourhood of Monti, passing traditional trattorias, outdoor cafés and hidden wine bars – there's an authentic atmosphere here that we simply can't get enough of. Plus, you're only a six-minute walk from the nearest metro station, giving you easy access to the centre of Rome.

About Monti
It's a truth universally acknowledged that in every city, there is a district just waiting to be described as expressing the spirit of the old Soho. In Rome, Monti is that place, and the connection is a fair one - although what Monti lacks in advertising agencies and mustachioed tech bros, it makes up for in creative enclaves, smoky bars and delicious places to eat. Nestled right in the heart...

Host
This home is managed by filippo
This home is managed directly by a business. A member of their staff will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Erika and her team look after all the apartments in the building, and some next door as well. As they do this professionally, it’s possible you won’t meet Erika herself, but our experience of the team is that they’re all lovely. There’s also a reception open 24/7, should you need any help with anything.
