Housed in a charming Haussmanian building in Paris’ vibrant Marais district, this bright, eclectic home is just the ticket for those looking for a central stay with plenty of fashionable flair. Beautifully curated to marry a blend of styles and decors, this home boasts Parisian style in spades. The first of the two living areas is boldly modern with its bright colour block cubby cabinets packed with books and curios and a long dining table that beckons sociable soirées over locally bought wine and cheese. Open the French windows here and perch by the Juliet balconies – there’s plenty of people-watching to be enjoyed here, a coffee or a sundowner in hand. The second study – which also acts as a second bedroom – is a more classical affair with warm-hued walls, a Persian-style rug and a desk space should you need to catch up on work. Tuck yourself away here with one of the books from the shelves or take advantage of the second set of French windows offering yet more Marais rooftop views. With a stylish comfortable bedroom and a bathroom complete with a rainfall shower, you’ve got everything you need for a relaxing, carefree stay. When you’re ready to venture out for some sightseeing, stroll around the Marais with its countless vintage shops, bustling bistros and cosy coffee shops, or make a beeline for the cultural Centre Pompidou, a seven-minute walk away. You’re also a seventeen-minute stroll from the world-famous Louvre, while Notre Dame Cathedral is twenty minutes away on foot.
