This glowing home in the heart of the trendy Marais district is located just opposite the oldest Parisian market in the city, dating back to the I6th century – The Enfants Rouges. Similarly, in utterly charming fashion, the home's blue shelved walls are filled with an impressive home library collection of books, with rustic exposed beams overhead and warm industrial-style lighting throughout. So, whether you're whipping up a croque madame in the compact kitchen, brushing your teeth in front of the Venetian mirror, or snuggling down for bed, a book is never out of reach here. With heaps of character, homely touches and plenty of tales to be told, this cosy home reminds us of an old Parisian bookshop – it really is a bookworm's little pocket of paradise. Outside, a stroll in the immediate neighbourhood will have you passing hip bars, hidden art galleries and quaint coffee shops, while the Notre Dame sits just twenty-three minutes away (on foot). When – weary from perusing local bookshops and soaking up the rich culture – return to your own story keeper for a relaxing evening in.
