This traditional borgo home fringing Greve in Chianti is as quintessentially Tuscan as it gets. Perfect for a multi-generational family stay, while the interiors are dated, you'll love the sense of space, with bedrooms spaced across the two floors. It's worth noting the swimming pool is shared with another two apartments. But that alfresco dining terrace under the shady porticoes, and roof terrace with views of the rolling Chianti hillsides, are all yours. When you're ready for a change of scene, you'll need a car, as this is a secluded spot. Head to Greve in Chianti's charming square for evening meals (a 12-kilometre drive), or plan a day trip to stunning Sienna (a 30-kilometre drive).

Home truths
Due to this home's rural location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay, and there is reserved parking for four cars outside on the shared driveway. Access to the home is via a 500-metre-long bumpy unmade road, so you'll need to take things slow.
You'll have access to the swimming pool and wider gardens here. They're shared with two other apartments set within the grounds. The pool is for seasonal use between 10 May and 10 October.
One well-behaved dog is welcome to join you at this home. It’s worth noting that the established gardens are not fenced.
A cot is provided for little ones on request, at no additional cost.
