Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

Rather aptly for a home in the city of lights, the interior of this apartment is spoilt when it comes to natural illumination thanks to the row of tall windows that line one side of the space. On warm days, there can be nothing better than opening the glass doors and letting a cool breeze circulate throughout. A bountiful amount of natural light wasn't the only reason we were charmed by this address, however. The free-flowing kitchen-dining-living area is innately sociable, while the presence of a piano will be a major plus for guests of a musical persuasion. The location close to the Place de la Bastille has plenty riding in its favour, too. In one direction, you can walk over to Père Lachaise cemetery in twenty minutes, while the zoo in Jardin des Plantes takes the same amount of time to reach.

Nowadays it’s a popular neighbourhood, centred on the Boulevard Beaumarchais that links it to Republique and which is packed full of concept stores, restaurants, bars, food markets, and a youthful spirit. The area is also home to a fabulous modern opera house (opened in 1989) renowned for...
