A former artist's studio, now converted into a loft space, this home in one of the city's trendiest districts acts as a lovely base for a large group visiting Paris together. Floor-to-ceiling Orangerie style windows invite in floods of natural light from the private courtyard outside. The elegant space is both stylish and comfortable, offering quintessentially "chic" Parisian designs throughout. Think flowing sheer curtains, dried flowers and a pretty, toned-down colour palette of greys and pinks. You'll find the bedrooms are spread out across two floors with unique bunker style ladders that lead the way to the closed-off mezzanine bedrooms – making for a super fun experience for any children amongst the group in particular. The two annexe bedrooms offer their own private studio spaces, equipped with a kitchenette and an en-suite bathroom – allowing for independent living and increased privacy for the members of the group who stay in these spaces. Sit outside in the peaceful courtyard with a glass of French wine in hand after a day's escapades in Paris, before heading back out to sample the local cuisine at one of the many incredible restaurants within walking distance. Your location is really second to none here as the Canal Saint-Martin neighbourhood is brimming with independent boutiques, coffee shops, bars – and of course, the canal itself, which offers the perfect promenade to stroll along.

About Canal Saint Martin - Oberkampf

Canal Saint Martin is to Paris what Williamsburg once was to New York or Shoreditch was to London. This part of town still retains a certain grittiness that has been largely lost from the abovementioned counterparts - gentrification is undoubtedly on its way but the area still feels authentic and edgy so get there before this changes! You'll be rubbing shoulders with Paris's hippest young things, smoking and drinking outside...
