On the outskirts of Buti, this retreat welcomes travellers planning a Tuscan escape. While air conditioning might only be available in two bedrooms, the seasonal pool is a great place to cool off before a barbecue. We love that this dog-friendly home provides remote workers with a practical office, but the serene garden and landscape views steal the show. 15 kilometres from Lucca and a bit further to Pisa, some of Italy's best-known cities are within reach – just take care driving in and out of here.
