A flat roomy enough for ten people right in the city centre is pretty much unheard of, so imagine our surprise when we found this gem. With five stylish bedrooms and an amply-sized living area meant for socialising, there's enough space here for a big group to spread out and get comfortable. The kitchen isn't massive – we'd only recommend it for cooking breakfast and other light meals – but we liked the vanity area outside the bathrooms, where you can prep hair and makeup without hogging the loo. This building has the highest eco-certification (A15) and it's run on renewable energy, so it's as good for the environment as it is stylish. Best of all is the location – Strøget is just around the corner, with restaurants, shops, cafes and bars all right on your doorstep. You're only two minutes away from Kongens Have and Rosenborg Castle as well, perfect for strolls in the sun.

Home truths
The elevator is currently undergoing repairs - please keep this in mind since the home is on the fourth floor
Four of the beds can be split into two singles on request
The kitchen is very small – it's only really equipped for cooking light meals and snacks, not feasts
When we visited, the wifi wasn't very fast
None of the bedrooms have a lot of space for unpacking suitcases and they all have glass partition walls that separate them from the living area – there are curtains, but it's not super private
Even though there's a lift, you have to climb four steps to get to the front door
There's no in-person check-in – your keys will be left for you to pick up in a lockbox
The furniture is looking slightly tired and the walls could do with a lick of paint to cover up scuff marks, please be prepared for some wear and tear.
The host can arrange a cot if needed

About Kongens Have
The area north of Kongens Have (Copenhagen’s oldest park and home to Rosenborg Castle) offers beloved green spaces, striking architecture, and a quiet yet central location. Historically known as New Copenhagen (Ny-København in Danish), it’s famously home to Nyboder (a historic row house district). Known for a high density of Nordic Functionalist buildings from the mid-twentieth century, it’s relatively quieter than its neighbouring micro-neighbourhoods (it borders Frederiksstaden to the east,...

This home is managed by Daniel and Jacobs
This home is managed by a business on behalf of its owner. A member of their staff will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Brothers Jacob and Daniel began transforming empty spaces into cool homes a couple of years ago. Their vision came out of an interest in creating unique experiences for visitors. They adore Danish design and try to decorate their home with as much local flair as possible. They’re very conscious of providing great customer service, so don’t ever hesitate to get in touch with them if you’ve got a question.
