Designed by the renowned French architect Jean Nouvel's interior design company, this bright apartment just a ten-minute walk from the heart of the Marais is full of beautiful furnishings and characterful details. We love the midnight blue sofa in the living room and the colourful shelves packed with books and DVDs, perfect for quiet evenings in together over drinks – there’s even a minibar stocked with wine made by the host’s family. Open up the French doors here to step out onto a small balcony where a table and chairs invite mornings over coffee and plenty of people-watching. The dining table – with its designer leather chairs – is a sophisticated affair as well. And, with the host offering to organise a private chef, there’s no end to the celebratory meals and superb soirees to be had. While the main room is a carousel of colour, the bedroom has a more pared-back Scandi vibe which creates the perfect canvas for a peaceful night’s sleep. You’ll love waking up and heading to the en-suite bathroom where an Italian rainfall shower provides a relaxing start to any morning. When you’re not hanging out in your chic home, go out and explore the... sights. The Marais is full of vintage shops and cosy cafes, while the Louvre Museum and Notre Dame Cathedral are both under a twenty-minute stroll from your door.
