Vetted by our experts
Tucked away on a quiet street in historic Bed-Stuy, Tea Tree Cottage is a garden-level home adorned with the host’s own artwork and lots of wonderful books. Although, of course, this is not a cottage, it does feel like a little haven in the big city, especially with its garden. A real rarity in New York, the backyard is abloom with tulips and lush grass in the spring and summer and offers a great spot to kick back. Similarly, the neighbourhood springs to life and you'll find locals hosting summer parties and barbecues in their front gardens.

Your host Karine
This home is managed directly by its owner who will be your point of contact before and during your stay.
Karine and her partner work in the arts, specifically in fine arts photography and in art book publishing, and you can find their works all around the house (what a treat). They'll be your go-to for all things New York, as well as any art-related questions you might have. They love hosting and meeting people from all over the world, but they are also happy that they can use this space when friends and family come to town.
This home is a Plum Guide Award winner. Find out more
