Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Location-wise, it almost doesn’t get any better than this. Tucked away in between the beach and Carmel Market, you’re in good hands when you stay at Climbing Plants. With its many food stalls, restaurants, and bars, Carmel Market is always worth a trip – especially if you’re interested in sampling some new flavours. While it’s not big, we love this home’s patio – the plant wall is a particularly eye-catching feature.

Home truths
All of the bedrooms are quite narrow, which is why the beds can only be accessed from one side
The kitchen is located in a long hallway – it’s well-equipped, but it’s not necessarily the most practical layout for cooking up a storm
There’s a window between the living room and bedroom three – the host has provided a curtain for privacy

About Kerem Hateimanim
Nestled in between the Carmel Market and the beach, you'll find Kerem Hateimanim, a small neighbourhood founded by Yemeni immigrants in the 1930s. It’s come a long way since then, and today it’s been taken over by bohemian Tel-Avivians looking for affordable housing. Even though Kerem Hateimanim is in the process of being gentrified, the neighbourhood hasn’t lost the authentic, village-like feel that’s beloved by many. There are still plenty of the original Yemenite restaurants around, which are worth a visit, even if you don’t end up staying in this part of the city.
