Every way you turn, you'll be pleasantly surprised by this home. The whole building has been renovated by the architect Ricardo Flora, and while each apartment is great in its own way, this is perhaps the best of the bunch. It’s set over two floors, with a chic wooden staircase linking the two levels. You'll find plenty of space to spread out, and there's even a balcony with fabulous views across the rooftops of Lisbon – it's the ideal place to enjoy your complimentary breakfast. There are plenty of fantastic touches throughout, from the orange juicer and panini press in the kitchen, to the copper-coloured pendant lights and gorgeous tiled bathroom. This home puts you right in the heart of Chiado, Lisbon's old town, where you can admire historic monuments, dine at wonderful seafood restaurants and taste pastéis de nata fresh from the oven. Praça do Comérciois just a ten-minute walk away, and you can wander to Castelo de São Jorge in less than twenty minutes.

About Chiado

Chiado is full of old-world charm, and is one of the best-loved parts of Lisbon. Think pastel-hued homes, cobbled streets and plenty of squares to soak up the atmosphere. There’s a slower pace of life in Chiado, which is why it’s so popular with locals. Hop on a tram to take in the open-air ruin of the Camo church, a Gothic masterpiece that was mostly destroyed in an earthquake, or hit the shops – this is one of Lisbon’s best shopping districts, after all.
