Full of art and designer furniture, this home is about as far from your typical holiday apartment as you can get. The whole building has been renovated by the architect Ricardo Flora, and retains its traditional charm with an added modern edge. Inside this one-bedroom apartment, you'll find rustic window shutters and recycled woods alongside copper-coloured pendant lights and modern comforts like an orange juicer and panini press. There's also a chic glass dining table that's perfect for enjoying your complimentary breakfast complete with hot coffee from the machine. Lisbon is famous for its patterned tiles, and you'll find them both in the living area and the bedroom too, a pretty reminder of the city's unique charms. The surrounding Chiado neighbourhood is the historic centre of Lisbon, and the streets are packed with restaurants, boutiques and bakeries where you can savour fresh pastéis de nata hot from the oven. The Praça do Comércio is just a ten-minute walk away, and you can arrive at Castelo de São Jorge in less than twenty minutes.
